Menulist
Sam & Ella's pizza has the best pizza I've had since moving to the mid west.
Well I am thoroughly disappointedWe eat here all the time, but as of recent the service has steadily declined.

"I visited Murphy's on a weekend, at the time we arrived the place wasn't very busy.I was immediately struck by what a great facility this was. Large, open main floor area with rich decor, very suitable to the Irish theme. They have a decent sized stage, a balcony area with seating and an upper balcony with a pool table. The balcony and upper area could easily be cordoned off for a private event. When we arrived there was someone (paid, I assume) on stage singing karaoke...fine for some but I was happy when he was finished. I am told they have live music here...would be a good venue for that.Drinks came fairly quickly and were good (all though all I had was a rum and diet, not too difficult, but nobody else was complaining about their drinks)Food was another matter. I ordered an appetizer (deep fried pickles) and it was forgotten altogether. When I pointed that out as my meal arrived, they did get them out very quickly, but they were in the fryer far too long. My main course was the Classic Burger ($14). The paddy seemed to be the type you buy frozen in a box...not too much flavor. I asked if they could substitute a Caesar salad for the fries...was told no, if I wanted a Caesar I needed to by the meal-sized salad. (Not a big deal, but most places will make a Caesar side without any issue). So, I asked for onion rings instead...burger came with the fries anyway.I had it easy, however. My wife was told they were out of ingredients for 2 different items. Her third choice (third time's a charm) was salt and pepper wings($13/pound), which they did have. Despite the trouble with my meal, the wings were delicious!Overall, the reality is mistakes do happen...no problem there. But, in terms of pub food, I do expect a better burger for the money. Murphy's Pub is a great facility and they have the potential to be a really big hit in Souris and the surrounding area. But first, they need to get their kitchen in order, both in terms of food quality and stocking.Despite that, I would still recommend you stop in, even if just to see the place and have a drink. They've only been open since November 2015, so they may still yet improve."
