What dianecN6539AP doesn't like about The Town House:
I visited this restaurant for a meal and it looked like a charming little place. However, I will not be returning. I waited 30 minutes for my fish and chips, hoping they were cooked fresh and worth the wait. When it finally arrived, I was disappointed to see a small portion - half a fish, two small pieces of lettuce, and a cherry tomato cut in half. The fish was overcooked and lacked flavor. read moreTucked away in Ayr, The Town House boasts a charming ambiance that initially draws in patrons. However, reviews reflect a mixed bag of experiences. While some guests praise the delicious homemade chips and friendly service, others recount disheartening encounters, from long waits for mediocre dishes to unwelcoming staff. Despite its appealing décor and lovely baked goods, there are calls for improvement, particularly in hygiene and restroom facilities. Overall, The Town House offers potential delights but seems to struggle with consistency in service and quality, leaving visitors uncertain about returning for another meal in the future.
