I'd no idea this place existed until I'd decided to have a walk around the area. The food was exceptional the service was great too. Now I know it's there, then I'll definitely be back, as will all the family friends I've spoken to about it too. View all feedback.
What bill argo doesn't like about Wee Hurrie:
Been here many times . The single fish (haddock) was lovely with nice crispy batter…but …I asked for a “large” and got 1 medium sized portion. The Tempura prawns were cooked in a nice crispy batter but the prawns were a bit on the chewy side ….they have been better in the past . The portion of chips were disappointing ….they were undercooked and had lots of “reheats” For some unknown reason the “wee hurrie “ don’t do... View all feedback.
Very well presented and tasty food. Will return here again
Fantastic range of fish in a light crispy batter, perfectly cooked fish, good chips, large portions. Everything is cooked to order so well worth a short wait.
Always a treat to visit Troon and the The Wee Hurrie for fish and chips. We got the Haddock and chips which was very nice.
Great wee chippy! Various types of fish for your supper, and various other things. Keep an eye out for their baws too!
It was a sunny Friday night tea time when we visited so there was quite a long queue. Buzzers provided after order placed to call you when your order is ready. We had the Frito Misto, a mixture of different chunks of fish Battered cod, haddock, salmon and king prawn. Very tasty and worth the wait.
