"The smell walking in told me the food would be amazing and it was. The seasonal salad with cucumber, heirloom tomatoes and perfectly ripe nectarines had me at the first bite odd combo, but perfection! The best southern fried chicken dinner I have ever eaten. The greens, the peas, the chicken and the biscuit were all delicious. Worth the beautiful drive."

"The moment you walk in the door you are met with a 'barage ' of warm, friendly atmosphere. The owner-manager is a down home person who will make a guest appearance if requested. If you are carrying a heavy load Ameilla can relate in heart felt understanding, In most cases she has experience of been there, done that. Feel free to mention your life 's concerns; she has a direct link above. I think there needs to be a sign on the roof peak: FAMILY DINING...and comfort The restaurant would probably be out of steaks much earlier. Our church recently had a planning meeting there for brunch and it worked out great. Gathered in one section, we were able to converse about plans and hopefully did not interrupt the other patrons. The lunch service was good and we left full of coffee."
