"We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Southern Plenty. The ambience is a Traditional lunch counter. You order your meal at the register. Desserts are there to tempt you in the glass case as you order. You can also just visit for ice cream or a shake. I had one of their specials the veggie quiche that was also gluten free. No crust. It was very good! It came with a side and corn bread muffin for $9. I got the pickled beets and got cheese. My only critique would be that the pickled beats and goat cheese salad was in too much liquid.. my husband had the bright leaf salad. Everything was very fresh and flavorful!! We really enjoyed our meal. Staff was also helpful and friendly, the place is located on the main downtown Street for South Boston. Street parking is available. There is also a public parking lot a couple blocks away."
