Stayed here after a long journey from Somerset to visit Cambridge. Great location situated between A14 and the park and ride. Quiet and relaxing hotel with fields at back , comfortable and clean room away from the pub. Had an excellent evening meal, breakfast also really good. Service excellent and hosts and staff really nice people. Hopefully can stay again one day. read more.

What Cancan2015 doesn't like about The Golden Ball:
Very underwhelming and disappointing. The roast lamb was served with cauliflower cheese and the vegetables consisted of parsnips and one sliver of carrot. Southern fried chicken and potato wedges were inedible. Wedges were burnt and the whole meal looked as if it had been reheated from a previous occasion .
