we have booked a dinner for a Saturday while they visit the opposite. 2 days in front of the phone and we had luck getting a table! my host, david, was charming and sociable. eating was better than most. gastro pubs and excellent value for money. we recommend you book early for a relaxing and rewarding experience. Tried to have a drink in the garden. A one way system still exists in this small village pub, insisting that you cannot enter the garden except via the pub. The garden actually has access from the car park and roadside but not allowed. You...cannot enter the pub without masks, signing in and being watched sanitising.
