Had an lovely lunch this afternoon with my family. Frank and his team are so welcoming and service was top tier. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Special dietry requirements were honoured and they even ordered gluten free desserts in especially for us. Log fire was lit, atmosphere amazing. Pub was spotless and looks so nice. Thank you. What Mandmade doesn't like about The Waggon Horses:
We had met up with family in Wimpole Cambs to visit the national trust estate. We were hungry, but not familiar with the area we took to Google . This place jumped out, so I made a call asking if they were open for 6 of us to come in for food. Thankfully they said yes so we started off back to the cars. Great lunch, great service. Cosy fire. Lovely locals, welcoming. We did a dog walk and rewarded ourselves with a spot of lunch.
Had a lovely gammon roast at the waggon this sunday, would recommend to come try if you’re in the area, Nice big portions and friendly staff. 10/10 from me.
