What User likes about The White Swan Conington Freehouse:
the new huntingdon bypass can make it a bit more difficult to get from, but this place is absolutely worth it. beautiful home cooked food in a traditional, inviting environment, and even the child portions are amazing with possibly best chips of all time. View all feedback.

What Andrew Hawkins doesn't like about The White Swan Conington Freehouse:
Disappointing after some really good previous experiences including dinner without booking soon after the pub re opened which encouraged further visits for Summer patio lunches but then had a lacklustre dinner with family in July. Lunch today was disappointing wet fish with tasteless peas and tartare sauce. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.

"Absolutely incredible Through my whole stay in the UK I’ve never enjoyed such an experience when it comes to dinner. This authentic North African restaurant just hits all the bills Great place, great decorations, amazing friendly staff and Saharan experience. We have tried their appetizers dish which is basically a platter of dips (Spicy Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, beans with herbs, beetroot and salad with an addition to chicken stuffed sambousa topped by powdered sugar and almonds which is a pleasure to your taste buds. The main courses I have ordered were Hunny Glazed Half chicken (very sweet and Highly recommended), and the Beldi tajin which is my favorite, it comes with generous portion of Couscous, mix them together and here you go We ended it by ordering a Moroccan mint tea which is exactly what you need after a heavy and delicious meals"

"I used to love this place when I lived in Cambridge, so I went back to the other day to see if it had changed. The food was still totally delicious and the service was friendly and fast. The smell of the meat roasting on the open grill is amazing. We saw some regulars come in and be greeted by name, shown to their regular table and served their regular drink, all a good sign for a restaurant. My only quibble (why do I always have to have a quibble? is that they charge 60p per pita bread, which seems steep for bread. On the whole, though, lovely, friendly and delicious."
