"Barman Scott is a weirdo and drags the atmosphere down with his stroppy attitude. Gives the impression he doesn't want to be there or is too good for his job. The rest of the staff seemed friendly. Seafood platter was a nice mixture of fried and fresh, although nowhere near as impressive as it used to be. Great spot for lunch or Sunday sesh out in the beer garden which looks kid-friendly with the grassy area"

"Popped into Harbour Café for a quick bite, I requested an item that wasn't ready made so I had to wait for it to be cooked, my experience was fine at this point. A few minutes later what appears to be the chef called out...my item and as I stood up and lent in to collect it from her she slammed it on the counter with a sour look on her face and turned around in disgust and strolled back towards the kitchen. No, thanks very much have a good day or see you next time Never have I ever been subject to such rudeness and ignorance at any establishment. In a small town like Hedland repeat customers are the only thing that keep small businesses like this in operation. My family and friends will not return until the basic manners of particular staff improve."

"I went midweek with a group of friends. It is located in the Bowls Club, so the vibe is very casual. The food is amazing! The seafood chowder was one of the best I have tasted (forget Kailis Bros. The Salt and Pepper squid melts...in your mouth. The Steak sandwich was huge. Crispy Pork Belly didn't fail on the crispy. The Chicken Parmigiana was also one of the biggest and tastiest. The only meal that was disappointing was the Spaghetti Bolognaise which was a bit on the sweet side, so maybe one for the kids. You will need to make wise choices between entrées and mains as not only are they large, but the deserts are to die for. We are thinking about coming back for Sunday Lunch just to have desert. The service is pretty much non existent ie go to the counter and order and the plates were left sitting on the table until we were about to leave. But that is kind of normal in Hedland. There is no such thing as a cheap feed in Hedland, but at least the food here is worth every penny. There is plenty of parking right out the front. We didn't realise you need to be signed in by a member to go, fortunately I of our group knew someone who could. You may need to check this when you book your table. They have a Facebook page, where you will find a copy of the menu just to get your mouth watering. When in Hedland, this one is well worth checking out."

"Four family members and bub spent an enjoyable brunch at Dome Cafe recently. It was lovely that there are separate little rooms where each group can have their own little nook. Wait staff efficient and friendly and most meals cooked to order except the French Toast which was nothing like I expected or enjoyed at other eateries. One could almost say the bread was NOT prepared with egg as the menu stated but was merely toasted with maple syrup poured over the top. The toast was hard and crusts inedible as it was so hard. Most disappointing as one expects to get what one pays for and what is stated on the menu."

"10 out of 10 last night!! Exceptional service and food. Don't have one negative thing to say. Love the salad bar so you can get started as soon as you are seated. Great lighting (not too bright, not too dark; can see what eating). Table was well serviced all night with plates being cleared as soon as empty, friendly, attentive staff, meals came out quickly (no frustrating waits), everything I ordered was available, and never once did I have to put my hand up to get someone's attention for service which seems to be the frustrating norm in most food places up here. So nice to receive top service AND food with no negatives as this is extremely rare to find in this town. Thank you for a rare fantastic experience. Left very happy and will definitely return as long as this kind service and food quality continues."
