beautiful cozy pub with a glowing fire. the buffet was excellent and it was all homemade. much too. tee and coffee on hahn. renter was very friendly and friendly. we were so happy and comfortable that we pulled out the restaurant and lounge on the plush sofas. the Christmas decorations were beautiful. the roaring fire was the best, even if it was 15 degrees outside. many thanks for a wonderful time and we will return... What Nick Goring doesn't like about The Mermaid Inn:
Phoned to ask if they were open so I could meet someone there a couple of Saturdays ago. I was told they would be open at 7:30 so arrived at 8 to find the pub closed. I had driven a long way, hence the phone call to check. Not impressed! View all feedback.

Very warm. Very cosy. Decor was lovely and staff were really friendly too. Will visit again Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
great service and eat even better. the bark from the owner's farm and the personal was even better. I recommend the steak and the Ale Pie.
