Being Mexican and from southern California, where there is a taco stand on every corner, I have to say that it is unlikely that this place would survive in LA or SD. The food is okay but not terribly tasty. Service is fine. I guess there just isn't the competition in Tahoe to force a more delicious selection of seasoning and taste. BTW, their salsa is super hot. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just a warning. View all feedback.
This restaurant serves incredibly delicious homemade food. I walked half a mile to get there, and I would gladly walk even further - despite being in my 60s.
As a Mexican from Southern California, where taco stands are plentiful, I have to say that this restaurant probably wouldn't thrive in Los Angeles or San Diego....
