We popped into this hotel after visiting Beatrix Potter house on a wet and windy day. Such a shame on such a cold day not to have the fires lit and a warmer welcome. We were met by a member of staff that quite indignantly informed us that we had to book afternoon tea well in advance. What douglas246 doesn't like about Sawrey House:
Last September we had a great meal here but not so this time. I specifically asked for my lamb to be pink and definitely not over cooked but it was over cooked. No one came at any time, not even when we paid the bill to ask if everything was OK. Not good enough! View all feedback.
