Went here for the 2 course Sunday lunch. What can I say the service was good and the food was excellent. Had the roast beef and it was cooked to perfection. Melted in my mouth. The veg and cauliflower cheese was fantastic and the gravy was so meaty in flavor. Also the Yorkshire pudding was large and the right consistency. Dropped in for lunch as our previous visits had been wonderful. Not this time however. Upon entry we were told by a member of staff that there was no room due to staff being off sick, which is fine, It happens and you go somewhere else, not an issue. The restaurant gladly provides baby high chairs for babies and toddlers, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. If the weather are right, you can also be served outside, and there's a counter where you can sit and have.
