What User doesn't like about The Sticklebarn Tavern:
I used to frequent this place when it was a popular spot for mountaineers and hikers. I have fond memories of enjoying great evenings here after long days on the hills. However, upon returning after several years, I was disappointed to find that it has transformed into yet another cake and coffee shop, with beer as an afterthought. Spent the wkend in the langdales and ended up in lantys slee's twice. The staff all really friendly and the food superb. Between 3 of us we had the ribs, the burger and the stroganoff. All very good, my stroganoff was superb. The Guinness was very good and the tall guy behind the bar with the beard had no issue bringing it over to the table after pouring. Nice touch.
