"Recently reopened after a bit of refurbishment and look good. absolutely packed on Saturday and had to wait for a table, but only about 5-10 minutes. not sure if they have a new chef, but the sweet epakora tasted like another recipe and was fantastic. usual selection of dressed on their lunch menu and large portion sizes. nans always tasty and generous. Nice to see that the ice is served in glass bowl instead of the old metal bowl that used it earlier. service and personal super. highly recommended and fantastic."

"We are staying at the distillers cottage in climpy and we're recommend this place for dinner so thought we would give it a try. From the minute we walked in the door all the lovely young girls were so so friendly and so so welcoming,...I really think that makes such a nice difference and felt so comfortable straight away. My boyfriend and I had the chicken goujons with the salad and garlic Mayo, super fresh, super tasty a starter. For main my boyfriend had the cheeseburger with an extra portion of onion rings and peppercorn sauce he said it was Super fresh and super tasty again....then I had the fillet steak, all I can say is WOW, one of the best fillet steaks I've ever had I LOVE steak, from the mushroom to the tomato to the onion rings the hand cut chips, the whole thing was outstanding. Not only was everything super fresh and tasty but it was piping hot just the way food should be. Also I must say one of the best peppercorn sauce I have ever had!!!! For dessert I has the white chocolate strawberry sundae and he said the toffee pudding with ice cream, then we finished off with some coffees. Honestly this was was amazing, I couldn't fault anything about it. A hidden gem if you ask me. Thank you again guys!"
