We travel to Scotland most years and the Scrib Tree is ideally positioned for us to take a break. It is only minutes off the motorway and well worth it the food is great, staff are friendly and it is a lovely contemporary...building in a peaceful village setting. We have been stopping off here for years and hope to do so for many more. read more.

Myself and a friend visited for lunch. We arrived and it took minutes for order to be taken. I ordered soup/sandwich and friend ordered pate. We then waited minutes for this very simple order to arrive. Find this very unacceptable level of service....Hadn’t been for a while and unlikely to rush back. Service was not great and all staff seemed to have no sense of urgency even when waiting time was highlighted. read more.
