"Scopri we couldn't have been more impressed last night! Your food and service was next level however I must single out the risotto which is as good as any dish I've had in any restaurant anywhere... Risotto is an art form that requires so many quality factors in its creation and when its done right there are few things that compare. We feel lucky to have experienced it."

"It's like being invited to someone's home and you sit around the breakfast/Kitchen bar. Very homely. But that's where the similarity ends. The food is a joy to behold. Colourful and attractively presented. The tempura is all that you imagined a good piece of tempura batter to be; light and crisp; not soggy as in some places. The oil is obviously the right temperature and of high quality. The beer is cold. The extra chilli [if required] is as called. The Chef is on hand to discuss his culinary creations. The fish is beautifully presented and flavoursome. The rice is balanced well with the vinegar, and cooked to correct texture. The service is polite, knowledgeable, and respectful of your privacy. A truly Japanese cuisine heaven!"

"Despite having been to most Greek establishments in Melb, Spitiko was one that I somehow missed.All the usual dishes are on the menu, including the buffet,. We opted for a wide selection of personally chosen dishes including mixed dips, saganaki, meatballs, sausages, lemon potatoes, salad, chicken gyros, lamb skewers which was more than enough for 4.When you select such an array of dishes a mix of great and ok is inevitable. The saganaki (too small & very thin) sausages (tomato based sauce was average) were probably the two that disappointed.The rest hit the mark and went down well with all.Staff were great, had time to recommend and chat and were always there when required. If you are looking for something slightly different, a mixed crowd and food that resembles your Greek grandmothers home cooked meals, then try this place out."
