Excellent food - good size and good value portions ( fed up with other restaurants serving huge portions that are too big to eat). The corn with Parmesan and chipotle mayo was particularly good. House wine was great value, though list is limited. Good play list of music and the desserts were really great ( again not too big). Will be back again View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Meatworksco:
We weren't feeling very hungry on our visit to Meatworksco so the platters weren't for us. On that basis we ordered the steak and to be honest it wasn't great, over cooked and dry. Accompanying vegetables were good. Looking at the meat platters served to...tables nearby I'm glad I wasn't hungry as these did not look appetising. Overpriced for what it was. Won't return. A group of 9 visited the carpentry co to dinner, the service was impeccable! the smoked meat sides were pointed notches and some of the best I had. the bartender was first class and knocked more drinks, then a water station at a...marathon! we will meet again next time on the big smoke. many thanks again team
We had a great meal at meatworks tonight. my man loves ripening and followed the amazing aroma in this little jewel when we passed. we took nathan's advice (lovingly kerl and tried the small plate, with crispy kartoffels and steamed greens on the...site wow! every single product on the plate was delicious. from the sticky wings (with beautiful crunchy, super delicate brisket, juicy drawn pork, tasty sausage, pork bell pastrami (gee whiz! and the most perfect pork! my man is very serious with ripening and was blown away. the crispy carrots were so good and so were the greens. the donations are incredibly generous. we enjoyed tasty cocktails as well as a great red wine from their thoughtful wine list. we will definitely return and look forward to trying some more delicious morsel!
Eating was amazing and good priced, great venue and lots of space. the personal was very friendly and courteous for children. would highly recommend.
What a fantastic relaxed atmosphere. we met friends there and had a great night with nice eating and drinking. the service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the meal. we will be back
We had family in town and wanted to find somewhere special for dinner, and after some amount of googling booked Meatworksco. None of us had been there before but all of us would certainly go back. We shared a smoked meat platter and about 5...sides between three meat eaters and one vegetarian. The brussel sprouts were the talking point among all of us but every dish was enjoyed. Great service and great fitout. Well worth checking out.
