Friendly and quick service; we were able to just walk in and have a nice Sunday lunch roast without having to book. The food was generally good and generous in size we supplemented the roasts with cauliflower cheese highly recommended if you like this and we were then too full to try puddings; just to note that there are specials for dessert. I ordered a beef roast £11.49) and a pint of St. Austell Tribute Ale £4.30). The service at the bar was friendly and my meal arrived promptly. The plate was pre warmed and the portions were large. There were 5 types of vegetables: carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, French beans and peas. Four roast potatoes, which were good, a Yorkshire pudding, a ball of stuffing and lots of gravy.
