What KateLondon 9 likes about Priory:
The nursery is small but sweet. Great cafe on site with lovely, reasonably priced food. The so overt walk is fantastic and has had some improvements too. The sunflower field was spectacular. The fish to feed are incredible. There is also a farm shop across the road. Good spot for a day out. View all feedback.

What Rita P doesn't like about Priory:
Good cafe in a pretty garden center, good food but went there last Sunday with my small dog and was told we had to sit outside. It was sooooo cold 1 degree or lower due to the wind. We had already ordered our food at the counter at this point. We had to move outside and there was no heating available even if they sell garden heaters at this garden center. We have been going to this same cafe for many years and could... View all feedback.

"My wife and I ate here on a Sunday night, and were really impressed with what we found. It is a wine bar, which serves a reasonably extensive snack menu. Think of it like a French tapas kind of idea, with a number of small plates on offer to eat whilst sampling the many wines, rather than a traditional restaurant serving starters and mains. We ate the wild garlic pesto tartiflette, which was delicious, and also had a charcuterie board, with generous portions of iberico ham, parma ham and cooked ham, together with bread and chutney, which was equally delicious. The other plate we ordered was a prawn and avocado salad in a balsamic vinegar dressing. This too was really tasty and was a generous size. It being a wine bar, there are numerous wines on offer, but what we chose to do was the wine flight, where you each get three small glasses, each of a different wine. I chose the Bordeaux flight and my wife chose the Rioja flight. For about £15 each, we thought it was good value and enabled us to try six different wines for a reasonable price, all of which complemented the food perfectly. There are also both white and sparkling flights available, as well as a good wine list, most of which were very reasonably priced. The restaurant/bar itself is relatively small, and reminded me of a cosy ski lodge, with wood panels on the wall and nice bench seats. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was excellent. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation returning if we are ever in the area again."

"Never been here before which is a shame as it's a great local pub to have a meal. Couldn't fault it in any respect. Very friendly service from the manager and the room is a very inviting place to sit. excellent value and great food."

"The staff were friendly and helpful with advising what the meals contained and helping me pick when i was undecided. The restaurant itself had a very authentic Italian feel and this was also given off by the staff who worked there. The food was great quality and the sizes were also really good would highly recommend over bigger named Italian restaurant chains!"

"From beginning to end. we received the highest degree of service and eat in a fabulous safe environment. a return for my parents, but my first time .. and it surpassed my expectations by far! the personal was informatiw and so friendly. from the surrounding greetings was clear that many of the customers return customers and nino and his personal would take the time to deal with them. a good sign of extraordinary foods was the fact that I enjoyed myself immensely and still food envy the 3 other meals we had at our table. they will not be disappointed, but may be pampered by the incredible taste and quality. in addition is nino jr. went out of his way to maintain the charismatic Italian atmosphere while offering a safe environment during the pandemic. take the time to choose screens that do not distract from the device, but a safe place to eat. we will come back next time in pangbourne! thanks for a nice night!"
