Thyme On The Yarrow - South Ribble

I visited this cafe for lunch while passing through Croston. I had never been here before, but was pleasantly surprised by the great selection of sandwiches and cakes. The food was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. The coffee was also very good. I plan to visit again soon.

My daughter and I were out and about and decided to stop by a cafe for some cake and a drink. I ordered a hot chocolate, a latte, biscuits, and a cake. I was initially taken aback by the high prices. We chose to sit upstairs, but the tables in the dark, dirty room were all dirty. Our drinks and cake arrived, but the drinks had too much syrup and my daughter's drink did not look as described on the menu. The cake and biscuits were dry and not very tasty. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, regretting our visit.

My husband and I visited here today and planned to get breakfast. While waiting outside (at a safe distance) we noticed one of the staff serving food was not wearing a mask. Also waiting customers inside were not wearing masks. I would have thought a...small business like this would be doing all it could to make its customers feel secure. We wanted to use this cafe in an effort to support local business but unfortunately felt it was safer to go elsewhere and will not be returning.

Lovely afternoon tea so yummy can’t wait to visit once the lockdown is over. Will definitely be ordering again soon.

Can't blame those young! we used them for a family event and eating was fantastic! all commented on quality and presentation. matt and lisa were friendly, helpful and are very expert what they do. I will recommend it to everyone! Thanks again...for our day so special!
