"Came here for lunch today, waited over twenty minutes to be served, then told hot food was a twenty minute wait, I only wanted a toasted sandwich. The staff had a no care attitude, the tea was cold, when our lunch arrived, they only made one sandwich, when I asked where the other sandwich was, she said it’s on its ways, she never came back and the other sandwich never materialised, I got up and left. I have been here a few times recently as I work in Yeovil and each time there has been an issue and it’s always chaotic, lacks leadership and organisation , needs a good manager in there and some staff that like there job. I will not be returning anytime soon."

"Lovely old thatched pub in a very peaceful village, about 9 miles from Ilminster. Our stay was outstanding, the shepherds hut was so cozy and dog friendly too. All the staff at the Mason Arms were warm and very welcoming. Food service was first class. We look forward to returning for another relaxing break, thank you"
