First visit and even the weather was perfect. Off the beaten track, but very well worth the adventure to a stunning country house that has been tastefully restored and evolved into a fine Inn offering accommodation (we did not stay), great menu of beautifully cooked and presented foods. The beers and wines are in good taste (excuse the pun). Service is friendly, professional and obviously intended to be excellent. read more.

The welcome here was so appallingly rude we had to leave. Possibly the most inhospitable hospitality experience I’ve had anywhere! It was a special day and we couldn’t risk staying to find it went from really bad to even worse so cut our losses and got out. Very disappointing after a very good previous experience.
