stopped here for impromptu lunch and a drink with family and discovered a jewel. the staff was so warm and welcoming, the location was comfortable and traditional. for the first time in the years I felt the need to congratulate the cook over quality, fresh and high standard of food presented. once I didn't have the terrible feeling, what a waste of money and I'll never get back there again! well made to all employees... Been coming here for many years it’s always welcoming and good food. Sadly on Sunday 29 October this wasn’t the case, 6 of us went for Sunday lunch. My cousin and his wife arrived first and said we were on our way as we had met flood water to be told our table was booked out again at 3 o’clock and they were very busy which wasn’t the way to welcome customers and not with a smile either.
