Had a great meal here for a friends birthday, the service was good and the three courses were divine and it very good value for money.
magnificent old pub with many beautiful original features.
Friendly bar staff and a good real ale on sale well worth a visit if in the area.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat in pleasant weather, and there's a counter where you can sit down and eat. The seat / dining area invites you to linger and extensively eat.
