We popped into this restaurant unexpectedly on a Sunday after checking out their menu on the board. Chef/owner is Irish and it's a family concern. How can anyone even begin to be rated when they use bottled hollandaise ? Its more like mayonnaise, totally NOT like real homemade hollandaise. "A hidden jewel! As an ex-cook of over a decade, I can say I know good food. Can Tho has not disappointed and exceeded all expectations. From music to decor and the entire ambience, this is a place to know and remember. The menu is clear, concise and welcoming, it was hard to make a decision as everything looked so appealing. I spoke to the friendly boss and owner and he led me through his favorite menus. We finished the dimme sims with Tangy sauce, dodo chicken, sizzling beef, pig belly (my favorite), cashew vegetables and steamed barramundi, which was cooked for perfection. With drinks our total amount came to $250, a bargain for such a great meal for four adults. The portion sizes were correct, and I couldn't fail any dish. Thank you. Chief and Staff, you beat the ball out of the park. Very recommended and worth a detour if you are in the Gold Coast area. Căm!"
