I'm a hard one to convince when it comes to restaurants that are located in high tourist traffic areas but we were at the Bavarian Beer Cafe next door

"My Husband and I visited this wonderful little place in Surfers Paradise,what a hidden Gem The food was excellent, the service was outstanding our host was Nick very professional young man so attentive and very charming explaing in detail the dishes we were going to have. The menu is fresh and innovating catering for vegetarians. "You read the QR code and get the menu on your phone what I really like, employees bring the food. They were all very friendly. Not many vegan options in the menu (can be salads, not checked). But we enjoyed what we ate. The vegetarian gyoza was really nice."
