this is a warm, welcoming place with good pizza and friendly atmosphere. the location is really beautiful and has a good mood. other elements in the menu (salad, suppe) were simply okay. overall the meal was decent, but it is on the expensive side for what it is. they also add an automatic 18% tip of bill an unusual practice for a party of two, especially if they do not show it forward. What Nod N doesn't like about The Ransom Tavern:
My wife an I ate dinner there this past Thursday. The food was fine and the service friendly.The fact that they tacked a 20% tip automatically on the tab without the waitress or menu disclosing this practice is dishonest.
