"Really nice smoked and juicy meats. Seating is only outdoors so check the weather. When I went it was windy and raining. Not a great way to enjoy some good food. I just have to go back now. Customer service was top ... The lady there know how to look after customers. Parking: Industrial area so parking during the week can be hard with lots of trucks all around. Service: Dine in"

"Stumbled across this little place after dinner. Decided to stop in for a night cap. Really quirky venue with books to read and board games to play. The drinks came quickly and were so smooth! Definitely give this place a go"

"I went for dinner at France Soir last night with my partner because it came highly recommended. The first thing to note is the venue is very small and very cramped. The entire evening I had waiters bumping the back of my seat and even at three quarters capacity, it was borderline uncomfortably loud. I understand the practicality of paper table clothes from the venue's point of very but when I'm paying ~$40 for a main, I don't think it's too much to ask to have linen table clothes. The waiters were brusque to the point of being rude but that's not uncommon in restaurants like this. They were only partially attentive though. After taking out order and bringing out our meals, it was extremely difficult to get the attention of a waiter to order a glass of wine to go with our main. I actually just gave up in the end.For entree my partner and I had the quail on a skewer and the sea perch dumplings. Both dishes were absolutely faultless and we enjoyed them very much. The mains are where it started to fall apart for me. I had the fish of the day, which was rockling. It was, quite frankly, overcooked. It wasn't unpleasant but when I'm paying $39 for a single grilled filler of fish, I expect it to be perfectly cooked. My partner had the chicken and it was very unevenly cooked. The breast was fine and apparently delicious but the leg and thigh were quite undercooked. My partner ate it, although didn't go too close to the bone, but I probably would have sent that dish back if it was mine. The side of sautéed spinach was perfect but the pommes frites were just French fries. They could have been from McDonalds for all I could tell. That's not to say that they were bad, they weren't, it's just difficult to critique something so generic. We shared the apple tart for desert and while it wasn't to my taste, my partner enjoyed it and it was well executed. In the end, we paid roughly $170 for a two person dinner - although it obviously would have been more if I'd ever managed to get that wine to go with the main. Not an unreasonable amount of money to pay and what was good was very good but it was overall too hit and miss for me to recommend and I wouldn't dine there again."
