Several attempts have been made at running The Junction since the legendary Dawn left and all have sadly failed. What was needed was a complete rethink and here it is. The pub has clearly been given a massive renovation and is now much more the foody winebar than the backstreet boozer. We visited for Sunday lunch and it was spot on. A very welcoming place and they had clearly spent money on refurbishing it. We went for a Sunday Roast which I was so looking forward to but the chicken was a major let down. How they think it is acceptable to give you about 1/5th of a chicken breast on a bone, which was a disgrace.
