It's OK. Could be so much better. The atmosphere and food are both lovely, but... The wine selection is shocking and it's hard to find a decent bottle without spending over 60 pounds, which I feel is a tiny bit excessive for a local restaurant. Came here for my girlfriends birthday in November and was very impressed. Food is great, presentation even greater. The staff are very helpful and gave suggestions on what is the most suiting drink to go with my meal. Without even telling them, they have prepared a little plate with a desert and small decoration on it to wish my girlfriend a happy birthday. While the price is fairly steep, you do receive the customer service you deserve. Would recommend for anyone in Southend to try it out!
