We held my father's wake at the Chalkwell Park rooms and from start to finish, Richard and his staff were extremely helpful. They alleviated any stress on an emotional day for us. Richard was very prompt in responding to all my emails, and the buffet was excellent and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them for any event. I'm so disappointed with the little kiosk that adjoins to, possibly part of Chalkwell Park Rooms. It's an honour to be the ones serving the community here. The staff are miserable and unhelpful, the prices are extortionate, the tables where you eat the food you have purchased from them are filthy sitting on rubbish and cigarette butts that are never cleaned up.
