Mission BBQ is sometimes hit or miss. This time was almost a hit. What they seem to miss is eating hot. As everywhere else, their prices have risen so they have to match the heat of their services. Moist Brisket is really good and the six different sauces are good to choose. Fries also taste great. You can't beat the atmosphere for one per USA feeling. All servers were very friendly. I will first say that the customer service is excellent here. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I love the cordial greeting and the service you have from the moment you go. The actual BBQ is just okay. The highlight of my meal was the Jalapeño sausage. I wish the bride was a little damper. The pages were also on the meth side. I wasn't the biggest fan of Mac and Cheese either. My meal was a total of around 20 dolla... View all feedback.
This will be a once in a long while kind of place to eat for me. BBQ is all the same so I knew what I was getting into. The sampler was OK, the sausage was very good, the brisket was also very good! My only complaints would be for the sides.. The mac was cold, and congealed. I got this SAD corner piece of cornbread that was so dry I almost choked on it… and the fries tasted like someone dumped salt on them.(if you like five guys fries you’ll like these.. hopefully yours wont have a ton of salt.. The meat products were good! Pulled pork was a bit dry I dumped almost both sides of sauce on it to make it better but I liked the sandwich overall. Idk Had to toss a good amount of my food which sucked… but lesson learned. I enjoyed QUE down the street more than this.
As a first time customer my friends and I were treated extremely well. Food was excellent, the service was even better. Ryan was a standout waiter and my expectations were more than exceeded. That is exactly how you should treat first time customers, other places need to take notes. We will be back without a doubt.Food: 5/5
The food is really good and the staff are all really nice! My first visit i was given a special treat since I hadn’t been before. The experience was so great I went 3 times and they even recognized me and said it was nice to see me again. Great restaurant with great staff!Food: 5/5
I 've finally found my local BBQ place. Best brisket I 've had in New England. There 's lots of BBQ places but for the ones I 've tried this is hands down the best. Yes it is a small chain, but they aren 't all as good. The food was exactly what I wanted, the service was friendly and top notch. Even in Texas I didn 't see an atmosphere that I wanted to be in regardless of what I was eating. This place has it all. You have to try for yourself! I cannot wait to go back.
Mission BBQ in Southington is a must visit for anyone looking for great food and friendly service. Despite being a chain, the food is surprisingly delicious. The staff is super friendly, making the atmosphere feel local and welcoming. My go to dish is the Yardbird half of a smoked chicken that is tender and absolutely delicious. The fries are crispy and perfectly seasoned, while the mac and cheese is baked to perfection.I appreciate that Mission BBQ supports our troops, and the patriotism in the atmosphere is uplifting. Everything on the menu is great, and I highly recommend trying some of their Black Plate Specials.Overall, Mission BBQ in Southington is a fantastic spot for barbecue lovers. The food is top notch, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is patriotic and upbeat. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you won't be disappointed with Mission BBQ.
