"This is consistently the best restaurant in the Indianapolis' metro area. The food is outstanding I highly recommend the nachos The service is friendly, quick and accurate. And don't skip the cookies; they're great. We regularly drive 20 minutes out of our way to eat here. This is a completely locally owned and operated restaurant, which makes it even better."

"I was in the area and wanted a Bloody Maria, so I decided to look by. I got soup and wings since I hadn't eaten. My Bloody was Yummers and my server understood my request for additional olives. I had two. The red pepper soup was the star of the show. It was so delicious with small pieces of tomatoes and cheese... I think so. Whatever it was, it was amazing. I had the hot wings... all the apartments... very tasty. My Lil afternoon joy was worth every dollar."

"I always get to go because I work nearby. Portions are generous and the food is always good. Excellent guacamole. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. It is a little pricey, but I understand costs of goods and good staff will drive that. Lost one star due to meat always being dry; in all fairness, I always get the carnitas bowl; it might just be the shredded pork."

"This Barbecue Gemstone is located directly near the Indy 500 race tracks. I must say that this place has the best grill so far and would definitely come back for more. I wish I had better pick, but the bar was a little dark, so I did my best. her spicy sauce! OMG! Game changer! easy 5/5 for me!"

"What the heck happened? I have visited this restaurant a few times (the last time about years ago). The service, food, and overall visit this time was horrible. The waiter we had didn't seem to know much about the menu. Frankly, he seemed disinterested in even working there. The steak (New York Strip) was not special at all. It tasted like a steak at any average restaurant and was much more expensive. The mac cheese was over-cooked. We even had following night reservations at St. Elmo's but decided to cancel that reservation based on the terrible experience we had at Harry Izzy's. I do not ever plan to return to this restaurant. I will miss the days when it was a preferred dining venue that lived up to its hype"
