We were booked in at the nearby Eurotraveller Hotel in Amelia Street and needed somewhere for a cheap breakfast, Cafe House definitely fitted the bill. The cheery staff serve up an endless variety of breakfasty stuff, its well cooked, cheap and comes at you at pace which is handy if you are in a rush. My meal I ordered was to be delivered at 4:45 and was confirmed that it would be latest 5:05 but for some weird and unknown reason it was delivered at 1:38 The food the chicken salad looked like it was just reheated in the microwave and the salad was steamed lamb chops hardly any meat what so ever so was like chewing a bone And to top of the whole experience the chips was cold !!! The food is tasty and the staff is wonderful - professional and very friendly. This place is absolutely perfect for a breakfast after a night of drinking. I highly recommend it.

Located in a modest working-class neighborhood on Walworth Road, I recently had a disappointing dining experience. I ordered egg on toast along with a subpar cup of coffee, which left a soapy taste in my mouth. When I questioned the high price of £6.50, the server seemed amused rather than apologetic. Surprisingly, I found out that egg on toast wasn't even on the menu. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this establishment.

We ate here 3 times and it was a pleasant experience. Staff were friendly and food was served fast hot. Will definately eat here if we stay at Elephant Castle again. :
