A gem of a pub. Lovely carpet, traditional bench seating and amazing exterior. It has a fireplace in the winter. A destination pub. BUT, it has become extremely expensive. Cask ale is up 20% in just a year! Expect to pay over £6 for cask, God knows how much for trendy lagers. We used to go in here and have 3-4 pints. Now we’ll just have 1-2, if any at all.
