This charming restaurant had excellent, attentive service with knowledgeable staff. The wine list was nicely varied. The menu changes regularly, but when we visited the house terrines were nice, fish was fresh and well cooked, the lamb sausage was tasty and came in a nicely cooked sauce. What Beetown172 doesn't like about Palmerston Dining Room:
Lovely atmosphere especially on a week night when it's not too crowded but unfortunately the food was very poor. Half chicken was stone cold, and the mussels were luke warm. No one asked us how our food was so we didn't find the opportunity to feed this back. A shame! View all feedback.
