I should warn you, there are many children. claire roberson, charmingly relaxed in front of the house in the camberwell arms that I first met when she was a half of the now sadly missing mayfields in hackney (although it is hard to be sad for too long when they realize that his replacement is the exquisite pidgin,) knows that sitting in the middle of the bed... Came here for their Christmas menu and I was really satisfied! The atmosphere was lovely, the service was friendly and speedy. The food was absolutely delicious! The beef and dauphinoise potatoes in particular were just stunning, and I loved the homemade ginger beer.
My companion and I went for Sunday lunch at this restaurant. Although the setting was pleasant and the staff were friendly, we found the food to be mediocre and overpriced. I had high expectations after hearing rave reviews, so it was disappointing to leave feeling let down.
The food was unreal. We ordered a few different small plates, larger plates and shared a pudding. Also paired with a few cocktails. Would happily come back again. Definitely worth a visit.
Went on a Friday night, food unbelievable, nice and vibrant in there and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. Can’t wait to go back
The staff, food, vibes, and atmosphere at this restaurant all receive top marks of 5/5. It is cozy and splendid overall. For example, a pint of beer is priced at £6.
