"We just popped in because it smelled lovely. We 4 were not disappointed! We had Italian antipasti, lots of it, fresh and yummy. Then fried fish, involtini, risotto and pasta. Gorgeous, big portions which we could not finish, they packed the leftovers up for us. Lively family place, lots going on. Unfortunately there are trains running past, which makes a bit of noise, but it's acceptable. Very much recommended!"

"Gutes Essen, frische Zutaten, Preis-Leistung absolut angemessen.Service sehr gut - ist auf alle "Sonderwünsche" eingegangen - einfach einwandfrei.Saßen bei strahlendem Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse am Speisemarkt.Üppige Portionen - der kleine Beilagensalat reicht manchen sicher schon als gesamtes Mahl!Vorspeise Karotten-Ingwer Suppe mit Sahne und Selleriestroh - sehr gut abgeschmeckt - Respekt hierfür!Zweite Vorspeise - "kleiner" Beilagensalat mit gebratenen Champignons - alles absolute Frischware, nichts zu mäkeln!Hauptgang Pasta in Olivenöl mit Pfifferlingen, Serrano und Spargel - ein Genuss und fertig!Hauptgang Spätzle mit Kalbsgeschnetzeltem und Wurzelgemüse - Fleisch zergeht auf der Zunge, Spätzle haben einen Eigengeschmack, Gemüse noch ganz leicht bissfest aber super gedünstet - wiederum ein Genuss!"

"The location is superb and the host was nice. I had a flammkuchen, portion was big for the price. It was not bad but a little different from the usual ones that I had elsewhere. If you are looking for enjoying a little traditional town, Bacharach is the place to go to and perhaps sit at this restaurant to savour some delicacies."

"We have eaten at the Restaurant Burg Klopp for the last two nights. It is located in the castle Burg Klopp, an easy walk up the stairs from Bingen am Rhein or parking on site.It has a lovely view over the Rhine but the best parts are the food and service. The menu offers a range of tasty meals beautifully presented. Starters are around 10 euros and mains around 20 euros. For us it seemed very well priced for delicious meals. The wine recommended to us was local wine and again, exceptional quality and well priced.We felt welcome and comfortable and we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling in the region.This is a new listing for restaurants but I notice the castle Burg Klopp is an attraction and reviewers mention the restaurant in their attraction reviews."
