"As for what´s on offer, it´s traditional Newfoundland fare: All Day Breakfast, homemade Fish Cakes, Fish Brewis, Toutons, Soups and Bake Beans. And ever my favorite, Homemade Bread which makes for the best toast. You got it, it´s the stuff your grandmother would make if she were still alive and happened to be a Newfoundlander. Madrock is as much cultural experience as it is a restaurant. And we shared the experience with tables and tables of happy diners, grannies to babies, the terribly fit and the awfully lazy out for Sunday breakfast."

"If you're visiting Dildo NL you won't be able to resist stopping at the Dildo Brewing Co. Museum. Brightly painted in yellow and overlooking the blue waters of Dildo Arm you'll never miss this awesome brew pub. A great spot to stop and take pics, gift shop and taste test selection of specialty brews- all while taking in the picturesque scenery that Dildo has to offer. They have a large outdoor patio overlooking the water- or if you prefer indoor seating you can sit inside and admire the view through the large garage doors separating the indoor/outdoor spaces. To my surprise they even feature a real deal pizza oven! I snagged myself some merch on the way out- a Dildo Brewing Co. Museum t-shirt to remember the day by. Another great place I would recommend anyone planning a trip to Newfoundland Labrador to visit."

"There was nobody crooked at Crooked Phil's Cafe when I visited yesterday!Out for a motorcycle ride with a buddy. It was time to get something to eat and our stomachs led us to Crooked Phil's.What a treasure!!! Incredible home cooked plates, served by a wonderful, super pleasant lady. If she could kill you with kindness, she would. So rare, and welcome in this day and age, where the service industry has lost the plot completely...but I digress.Absolutely wonderful service combined with brilliant fabulous plates of food.If you haven't been there you should go!Crooked Phil, you and your team are doing an awesome job. Keep it up!Did I mention they doALL DAY BREAKFAST!!!(I had the grilled cheese bacon)"

"Okay, I may be biased, but I must honestly say that eating on the country corner is absolutely fantastic. I had the opportunity to visit a few times in the last days and tried many of the menu points kabeljau, caesar, hot truthahn, fishchips, hamburger, fries, wobble rings and, of course, my fav. the blueberry crisis) and yes, I've been on a few pounds, but it was worth it! everything was amazing. thanks to maria, ben and all staff (especially samantha) for their hospitality and friendly service. I can't wait for my next visit."

"Had the fish chowder soup & roll,,,,,It was excellent. My daughter had the chowder with a smoked salmon pizza, again delicious. Server was good, she got a lot of exercise on the stairs. One thing that bothered us was the poor air circulation, I mean the smoke from the kitchen was going upstairs, our eyes were even watery. Of all the money the Owner has spent on this place one would think that this would not even be a problem."
