Stopped on our way to Gulf Shores, we just wanted an appetizer so we ordered cup of seafood gumbo. Before I get to the description please be aware we live close to and I have traveled many times over the years to New Orleans to eat seafood and we have a good realization of what it is supposed to be like. If you haven't even been over, you should try again. new menu... and if you do not see a favorite simply ask... huge down area available fire up to 250....
Came today to Ralph Kacoos for lunch was impressed. The food is fresh (no frozen) Desserts are homemade. Although the menu lists are mostly roasted, you can opt for grilled or smoothed. Had the shrimps, oysters fish with asparagus. Key Lime cake for dessert. Our waitress was very friendly and laid a chair next to the fish tank so my son could get a better look. Will recommend a return.
Are here for lunch recently. I thought it was really good. Prices are also reasonable. Will be back when I'm dirty. Had a fried pork chop with crust fish étouffée. Delicious.
Nice experience here. The food was good and the service was also great. The parts are big. I couldn't eat all my stuffed shrimps. If the weather is nice, you should sit outside. The views are good. There are 3 alligators in a kind of case to see. That was interesting. The bread was superduper, but no zeasarsalate. It was Bland.
Great food and great service, even when the power went out right after we ordered! The kitchen wasn't able to get everything perfect (a couple of people got different sides than what they ordered due to the power situation, and no more fountain drinks) but the server had a great attitude and we were impressed by the overall effort and the food. Charbroiled oysters, the redfish special with crab topping, and fried seafood platter were all amazing and we will definitely be back.
