What Jewel Kub doesn't like about Spanish River Inn:
I was at the hotel in autumn and ate in the restaurant. The hotel room was spacious and clean; but I had a problem with the TV. There was no phone in the room. Parking was free. Meals at the restaurant were good. View all feedback.
A friend and I snowed Elliot Lake in Spanish a very cold morning. We stopped at the Spanish River Inn for lunch. Service was good. I had fish. You were good. My friend said his food was good. There is a large wooden tableware in the dining area, that was really nice as it was 20 down. I'll eat here again.
Restaurant with medium size on the Spanish River Inn. Very clean and well run, the service and food presentation was efficient. Nice menu options, and the food was very good. Plain but comfortable. Recommended.

Our small group of 4 attended at this restaurant on Saturday AUGUST 13th, 2016 before heading back to Waterfall's Lodge for a week. The restaurant was clean and typical Northern Ontario atmosphere..., dated and lots of pine wood. It took far too long for the waitress to take our order and eventually serve our meal...., a good half hour.... She was very friendly. But the meal (fish and chips was very good and a big portion, with all of the extras like tartar sauce, lemons, cole slaw, etc. Bear in mind.., SPANISH, Ontario, is a very small community..., and I think this was the only restaurant in that small village...., there might have been another restaurant....?? We were there during lunch and the service would have been much better if the waitress had some assistance (another waitress to serve other customers too.
While travelling through U.S.A. and around Lake Superior, we stayed in 6 motels. Spanish River Inn was the worst. Also the most expensive (in Canadian s No pillow protector, The spring mattress had no skirt and looked dirty. If one person was using the shower, and one the sink, they had to share the one bar between them. No fridge in room. If you plan to stay in this motel, bring your own pillow and bed sheets.
