What Alisa H doesn't like about Sushi Ya:
Racist energy.. My fiancé whom is African American went to pick up our order on Saturday. At the front desk there was a young Asian girl that was completely rude and gave him attitude the ENTIRE time during his transaction. His bag was on the counter with other orders directly in front of him! , she grabs his bag, places it on the window seal and pushed it towards him to pick it up. Even the other hostess which was a... Not a big place, but nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The sushi was good and kind of a little more tasteful here. I will go back for more:

TL:DR Average food, a little pricey, but it 's Sparta. Cute place with a small, tastefully decorated dining area. Folks working there are friendly and happy to help. Placed an order online, but couldn 't pre pay as it wasn 't an option? Kind of strange. Prices are high, but again, it 's Sparta. Overall, the food was rather average in flavor, and a little bit undersized for the price. They did not offer chopsticks, but they did include forks, spoons, and packets of soy sauce. There were no fortune cookies. We asked ahead of time No Broccoli Please because we can 't eat it. The Nake Yaki Soba came in three pieces: a container of broth, a container of noodles mixed with ingredients, and a little tin with two tempura shrimp inside. The broth looked and smelled wonderful, but upon tasting it, was rather bland. We enjoyed the shrimp separately. The container of noodles ingredients was packed in tight the chicken, fish cake, crab stick, and egg were great. The noodles were just the right consistency and easy to slide into the broth. However, the vegetables in the mix were predominantly raw onions and raw bell peppers. The cooked vegetables included scallions, bok choy, *one* baby corn, and ... broccoli. All of it just tasted like raw bell peppers, which was really disappointing. Even when everything was put together in the broth, it was very underwhelming. The Vegetable Tempura appetizer was about what we expected tempura vegetables. There were two pieces each of zucchini and sweet potato. There was one piece of what we think was taro? And one piece ... of broccoli. Again. We specifically asked for no broccoli, so all of those went into the trash what a waste. If we go back, we 'll probably stick to ordering sushi, as it 's in their name. It could be they 're not very concerned about non sushi menu items. Parking: Plenty of free parking available in the huge, public lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, but the ramp is a bit steep. The parking lot is also a bit hilly uneven in areas, so please be aware of that.
