"We visited Mimslyn Inn a couple weekends ago when we were in Luray. It was a group of 9 of us and my friend had called ahead of time to make a reservation. When we arrived, the hostess told us that it was a good thing we made a reservation because it was a busy night! We were seated immediately, and the hostess came by with menus. There weren't really a ton of veggie options (other than a salad there was a veggie burger and one entree to choose from). None of the appetizers or soups were vegetarian so I wasn't able to order any of those items. I ended up ordering the veggie burger which was actually house made. It was tasty but it kind of fell apart as I was eating it. The fries were great though (waffle fries FTW)! Overall my experience was pretty good, I don't know that I'd visit again, but I did enjoy my meal. The waitress we had and staff were also very nice so that's another plus. Solid 3 stars for me!"

"This is a local independent restaurant. They only have seats in the interior and take off. The menu features a variety of salads, burgers, hot dogs, wing-dings, pizza and tuna. There are pommes, onion rings and social. No, it's not gourmet from mostly frozen food, but it's okay. A local clamp. Give them some business."

"Absolutely horrible place. Inside it looks like cheap nuckle-head’s bar. Everything was dirty and smelled weird. Food was just junk. I ordered shrimp pasta and what I got was cold macaroni(not even property drained) with freeze burned shrimp without any sauce just few pinches or parmesan. And paid for that tragedy $18. My husband had some sort of cheesesteak but he couldn’t finish half of it. Water had odd taste to it. My daughter had hot dog and fries (only meal that was decent) and a salad looked like it was 3 days old. Good waste of $60 in total. We were in town for the weekend and it was a gamble walking in. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody unless you want to be disappointed in your dining experience."

"I had the baked potato with the vegetarian chili and chopped onions. It was good because I was starving after hiking 14 miles of the Appalachian Trail that day, but definitely not a filling meal. The salad bar didn 't look worth the cost (for vegan options). The menu says their veggie burger is the original Gardenburger, so that 's not vegan. The veggie steak is served with cottage cheese or coleslaw, so I 'd asume that it 's not vegan. I figured the vegetarian chili would be safe for vegans, but I didn 't ask the server to confirm. Also, this place serves veal, which I thought was one of the items that made a restaurant ineligible for Happy Cow."
