"Familie Höfler besitzt einen der schönsten Höfe in Millstatt mit genialer Aussicht auf den See. Man sitzt unter grossen alten Bäumen oder in der urgemütlichen Stube. Auf den Tisch kommt, was selbst hergestellt wird, z.B. die üppigen und leckeren Brotzeiten und verschiedene hausgemachte Most-Sorten. Der Buschenschank ist bei Einheimischen und Gästen äusserst beliebt und manchmal ist dann leider alles schon besetzt. Hat man aber einen Tisch ergattert, darf man für die Dauer des Aufenthalts einfach das Gefühl geniessen, dass hier die Welt noch absolut in Ordnung ist."

"It´s a great place to enjoy modern dining in exchange to all the traditional places here around. They have nice selection, some great mediterrean dishes, all nicely prepared and served. I had there best wok vegetables ever, I really appreciated it. Only it´s location next to the Drautal Perle Aquapark was a bit disturbing, could feel a smell of the chlorine while the dinner. But I guess they can´t much do about it. Anyway, don´t miss that restaurant while visiting the aquapark as it´s menu is really worth tasting."

"Der Aufstieg ist besonders bei schmelzendem Schnee etwas anstrengend - aber man wird mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht und gutem Essen (die besten Kärntner Kasnudeln, die ich je irgendwo gegessen habe!) belohnt. Letztes Jahr haben wir es leider nicht geschafft, uns hinaufzukämpfen - aber diesen März kommen wir auf jeden Fall!"

"We stopped here after spending an afternoon on the lake. It was an exceptionally hot day and the place could probably do with a little extra shade.The food and drink was nice but it was topped off by the views of the lake.A good place to stop for a quick bite to eat and makes for some great photos."
