"The MANHATTAN BAGEL on SUMMERHILL ROAD in SPOTSWOOD, NJ is a 5-star spot to get bagels. This is without question my go to place for bagels from coast to coast. Although I live in Colorado I quite often visit my family back home in New Jersey, at which time I am always sure to buy as many bagels as I can fit in my bag. Actually, these bagels are pretty much why I purchased a stand up freezer, so that I could have bagels accessible where I am now. Even in Denver, the bagels I bought in a bagel shop (a shop which claims to have adjusted the mineral content of the water to make it match that of the water in New York), and in my opinion it wasn?t even a good attempt. To add to that the staff are an amazing group that treat me like family. The staff and owner all know and greet me by name when I arrive and not that it matters but, if you forgot my name after a year of not showing up, I would understand, yet that wasn?t the case. The staff they have on board are amazing, which includes MOISES, TINO, JESSI, ARA CELY, LALO, AND PINNA LISSE. I would recommend this bagel shop to anyone looking for good food and good service from good people. "From the beginning to the end, The Palace has been absolutely phenomenal to work with. We knew immediately from our tour with Richard that this was the venue we’d be getting married in, as he was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. My planner, Antonia, answered all of my questions for the last two years with patience and promptness, and was extremely supportive. When I met my maître d’, Josh, I absolutely knew we were in good hands. He reassured me with how detail oriented and meticulous he was with his timeline and organization. Not once did he seem annoyed or upset at me for my anxious brain, and kept me calm and centered. A huge unfortunate event occurred during my wedding day in which my husband and three of his groomsmen got into a serious car accident on the way to the venue that left the car completely totaled and two of my groomsmen to be brought to the hospital. By some miracle, they made it to the ceremony and Josh was able to work with his team to push the wedding back by only 10 minutes. He constantly asked me for what I needed, and was there every step of the way with the bridal attendant, Anahi. We had fresh fruits, charcuterie, drinks, and hot foods replenished all throughout the day while getting ready. When bumps occurred along the road, Josh quickly resolved them. He truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. Not only did Josh pack us extra entrees to go and upgrade our lighting, he surprised us with a creme brûlée and cannoli station during the Viennese hour! He also gave my MOG an extra side of whipped parsnips that she was craving, and offered an extra meal for my groomsmen who were in the accident out of the kindness of his heart. It meant so much to us to hear how dedicated him and his team were to ensuring that our guests were taken care of. Everything was impeccable from start to finish with the Palace, that my husband and I both felt like weren’t just “clients” they served but almost like family. I wish I could get married all over again here, and we are truly joyful to have had our wedding here with The Palace."

"I started going to Crockadeli when I moved to East Windsor, but haven't been in about a year (or so). I heard their commercial on the radio and because of that, went for dinner for my wife and I. The food was as good as always, the prices are fair and the order was prepared quickly."
