What User doesn't like about Noodle Eighty Eight:
Nothing was good. Food was barely cooked. General Tso tofu came with rohem, bland tofu. Worst part, order vegetable spring rolls and they gave us shrimps. I found the hard way. We ordered the chicken dumplings, the vermicelli soup, and the garlic broccoli with rice. Absolutely delicious! They are also very knowledgeable and responsive to any vegan questions about the menu. Overall, a great experience.

I recently discovered this newly opened restaurant located next to Martindale's Market. They offer a variety of vegan dishes and are willing to prepare them without oil upon request. My group ordered oil-free versions of mixed vegetables, aubergines, and mushrooms, all of which were delicious and made with fresh ingredients.
We were pleasantly surprised by the incredible food at this restaurant. While visiting Swarthmore Inn in town, we decided to stop by and we are so glad we did. The lamb was tender and delicious, with a generous portion size. The beef short ribs were also amazing. The presentation of the dishes was lovely. The proprietor even made us a fresh pot of smooth and soothing jasmine tea. We will definitely make a point to come back next time we are in town. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant, the service was great, and the food was truly amazing.
