We stopped here on our way back to Christchurch from Castle Hill Conversation Area. It’s a lovely cafe. Their kitchen had closed by the time we reached there but we could order some hot drinks and also the some food from the display rack. I ordered a fish and chips, I like it’s a big portion, f&c both crispy, fresh with salad. But I don’t like the special ketchup, taste weird. The iced chocolate was nice, and I’m surprised there’s a scoop of ice cream inside.

Nice food, sausage roll could have been a little hotter but delicious. Coffees were great, muffin was fresh and delicious. The room temperature could have been just a bit warmer. The least enjoyable thing was the wobbly table.
It’s a rustic little cafe with pies, desserts, ice cream, soups, shakes, and a ton more! We got the veggie nachos and they were delicious. Breakfast stops at 11:30am. Would recommend!
Great place- the only place- to get breakfast in Springfield.
