"We make a Alphabet Dinner list with friends. we are up to “E” so chose this Ethiopian restaurant. so glad we did. the owner was very helpful when he suggested to order which meal. they represented a “dictionary” to explain what the meal was involved. a. very simple restaurant, but very tasty eating! byo also we will be back after we are past “Z”!"

"We recently had our sons birthday at Cream House and everything was great. From booking right through to payment was simply and easy. They accommodate all our needs and went above and beyond. The decorations were way better then we expected, the food was amazing and the team was friendly and helpful. All the kids had a great time and the adults got to relax and enjoy the food. "Several meals at Cafe O-Mai since my first review back in February this year have firmed up my positive opinion of this very genuine Vietnamese cafe. Yes, it is still noisy and crowded, but that is normal for a popular local cafe anywhere in Asia - the good happy noises of friends and family relaxing while enjoying good food and drinks with the comforting thought that it will not cost much more that cooking at home. This time we dined with a family member who has lived in worked throughout Asia and he heartily approved of the food. I tried the new Bo Kho beef dish and found it delicious but enough for three diners. The rice paper rolls were big with the right balance of flavours and textures. My more traditional Aussie husband likened the meat ball with quail egg centres to a familiar British favourite, Scotch eggs but they looked much more delicate and appetising than that cardiac destroying fried snack. I tried the crisp delicate rolls and wished i had ordered one with my Bo Kho. The Asiaphile gave the nod to Cafe O-Mai's version of pork Banh Mi. We did note with amusement that general atmosphere of local diners developing "ownership" of "their" cafe so we got a few glares and even a request to move out of the top table by the window as we waited for our family to arrive. Now that is probably the best recommendation when regulars take over. Think we might just join the club!"
